We have just received word from a very reliable source regarding the future of A Bug’s Life. Our source informs us that Pixar is intending to proceed with a sequel to A Bug’s Life, with a projected release date of Winter 2013. 
My sources tell me that it will also be the first movie in which John Ratzenberger will not be in the voice case due to a contract he recently signed with Dreamworks Animation.
LOL at Anonymous. But seriously, let’s just trust the process and have faith that whatever Pixar does, it will be great, even if they are recycling characters that we all know and love.
I hear the sequel will also contain a new bug species, Aprilous Fooliose.
My sources tell me that Pixar is skipping A Bug’s Life 2 and going directly to A Bug’s Life 3 instead.

Well, I can’t say I’m happy for another sequel. What would A Bug’s Life 2 be about? I’m am just so sick of Pixar’s tom-foolery, with them churning out the sequels, like another Dreamworks or Disney in the early 2000s. The Incredibles needs a sequel WAY more.

I believed it and who wouldn’t….I mean with Cars 2, Toy Story 3 and a possible monsters inc 2, haha. The only doubt was why would they confirm it so early.

I recognized this right away, considering that it was accidentally uploaded on March 31st, at 11:06 pm Eastern North American time, then disappeared, and was re-uploaded at midnight on April 1st…
Besides, I was waiting to see what Upcoming Pixar would do for April Fools Day. There seems to be something every year…

Can you really see them doing another one when one of thier lead character’s voice actor died? I think out of respect for Joe Ranft they wouldn’t do it. I know Jim Varney died as well and Toy Story goes on, but this is different, Joe Ranft was more than just a voice actor, he was part of the brain trust.
