Visit Pixar: Emery Ed Fund Pre-Release Screening of Up!

It’s that time of year again! The doors of Pixar are opening in early May, and you could have the chance to go.

Emery Ed Fund and Pixar are holding their annual benefit which gets you into a preview screening of their next movie, Up, three weeks before general release. Best of all, the screening is held at the Pixar Animation Studios in Emeryville, California. There is a hefty price tag if you want to get in, tickets start at $250 per person (other packages on flyer), but even in this economy, if you have the chance to attend, there’s no question in my mid that it’ll be completely worth it! Besides the screening, the ticket includes a silent auction, wine reception, a self guided tour of the world famous campus, and the happiness of knowing you helped the educational system.

The event is being held on May 7th, 2009 starting at 6:00 PM. To get tickets contact or call 501-601-4997. Space is limited, so get your tickets fast. You must RSVP by May 1st.

Check for more information soon, but for now check out the flyer by clicking on the image above.

(Thanks, Dave)

I’ve always wanted to do this, but I never had the means or the funds. I now have both (or… almost), so I may just attend the event this time around. Maybe….

In any case, thank you very much for the information!

By the way, the official “Up” website has been updated.

Mitch- Yup, I was writing about the updated website while you commented. Thanks for the tip anyhow! 🙂
Good luck on the trip! If you do visit, don’t forget to send the pictures our way!!

It’s even before the Cannes premiere!!! You will be one of the first audiences in the world to see the complete Up if you go, not mentioning to tour the land of Pixar. Good luck and kudos, it’s for a good cause too.

martini – Ha! You beat me to it. You’re welcome, though, and thank you! Should I attend the event, I’ll be sure to snap some photographs while there.

Anonymous – If you were addressing me.. then many thanks!

Wow, just when I had my credit card fully paid off, I was considering going to see this…but, my youngest sister is graduating from college that weekend.

Well…I suppose I could save up for next year, and plan for their pre-screening of Toy Story 3.
