Paul Newman (1925-2008)

A truly great actor has passed away. Paul Newman died Friday after a long fight with cancer, he will truly be missed. At 83, Newman accomplished so many great feats during his life time which will be cherished forever.

You can read The New York Times’ obituary for this great man here.

May this legendary actor rest in peace.

On a related note, this may affect production on Cars 2, as Paul Newman played the memorable Doc Hudson. Newman is the second cast member of Cars to pass away this year after George Carlin.

RIP Paul Newman. Your voice acting in “Cars” will not be forgotten. I will always remember your wonderful performances in “The Sting”, “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”, “Road to Perdition”, and countless other movies.

You know what I think? I think Bud Luckey should do Doc Hudson’s voice in Cars 2. I think he’s the closest thing to Paul Newman, and he’s already done stuff for Pixar. Let me know what you guys think.
