Animated Views has a good interview with Tim Hauser, the author of The Art of WALL•E.
Tim answers questions about writing the book and how he came to work on it. He also mention he is writing The Pixar Treasures and The Art of Up due for release next year.
Thanks Martin.

I want to know what The Pixar Treasures will be about…
What rachelcakes said.
Man, I want the WALL-E art book so bad. Thanks for the interview. ^^
The author of the article told me via e-mail that The Pixar Treasures is sort of an “Art of Pixar” book.
Could it be the short films Art of… book? No, I don’t think so. I’m stumped.
I was in Borders today and I found “Disney Treasures” which, from what I gathered, is a book with art work and replications of art work, most of it removable, and it focuses more on the history of the studio than any specific film. (I could be wrong, though, there was no way to see inside without opening the box.) It’s a bit hard to describe so here’s a link to the Disney Treasures book, then click on the picture and view all the pictures to get an idea of what to expect from Pixar Treasures…

It looks like it will be VERY worthy for any Pixar fan’s collection, and a great addition along side the films’ and short films’ art of… books, and Pixar history books. I can’t wait for it! =)
