I’ve been really excited about Wall E since I first heard about it 2 years ago. But, I have to say, the more I see of the ‘final product’ the more Wall E (the character) is seeming like an unimaginative copy of R2D2, and I’m afraid it will bug me so much that it will make it hard to enjoy the rest of the story (kinda like Jar Jar Binks in Phantom Menace) I mean, R2D2 was cool in 1977 (when I was SEVEN) but do we really need all the same cutesy computer sounds that seemed cutting edge over 30 years ago?
