The Oscars are in a week, but that doens’t mean we have to wait that long for anything exciting in WALL•E’s world.
The American Cinema Editors (ACE) have recently awarded our favorite little robot with their Best Edited Feature Film (Comedy or Musical) prize at the ACE Eddie Awards. This is the first time an animated film has won that award and I say this a lot but I mean it, WALL•E really deserves this stuff, it’s an amazing film and I bet you agree. Look here for the rest of the winners and nominees.
So congratulations Stephen Schaffer (editor) and of course Andrew Stanton and the whole team at Pixar for this achievement!

I also think it’s worth mentioning that this is the first animated film to ever take this prize. 🙂
